6Africa is a deliberate alliance — bringing together convening power, investment infrastructure, and on-the-ground networks to build something none could build alone.
6Africa is designed to be a platform others can build on, not a closed system competing for the same ground. We believe the diaspora investment ecosystem is most powerful when it is connected — when researchers, conveners, fund managers, technologists, and community organizations are working from the same intelligence and toward the same goal.
That is why we approach every partnership with a clear question: what does this organization bring to the ecosystem that no one else can? What does 6Africa enable them to do that they could not do alone? When both answers are strong, the partnership works.
We are selectively building an ecosystem of founding partners across four categories. Each plays a distinct and non-overlapping role.
Anchored in community trust and supported by strong, on-the-ground networks across Africa and global markets, the Africa Investment Network (AIN) serves as a leading convener driving trade, investment, and ecosystem development. Through its flagship Global Africa Summit series and strategic engagements, AIN brings together governments, private sector leaders, diaspora communities, and development partners to catalyze meaningful partnerships and opportunities. AIN (a nonprofit) works in close collaboration with Chambers of Commerce, diaspora networks, trade and investment agencies, and private and public sector stakeholders to activate and scale the 6Africa marketplace.
17 Intentional Investment Institute (17III) is the nonprofit platform architect of 6Africa — responsible for digital infrastructure design, investment research aggregation, platform governance, and project management. 17III brings investment structuring discipline, impact measurement rigor, and the financial expertise needed to translate research into deployable vehicles. Together with AIN, 17III functions as the "Intel Inside" of the 6Africa ecosystem — the engine running behind every interaction on the platform.
These organizations bring distinct capabilities — technology infrastructure, market access, and strategic counsel — that extend what 6Africa can deliver to its members.
6Africa is an information and connection hub — not a broker-dealer. Transaction execution is deliberately delegated to regulated financial partners, maintaining platform neutrality and regulatory compliance at every stage.
We are actively building partnerships with diaspora organizations, research institutes, Chambers of Commerce, and investment platforms. If your work aligns with ours, we want to hear from you.
